Severe Soils & Foundation Movement Results in Lawsuit Against Local Vacaville BuilderWe Focus on Construction Defect Litigation on a Contingency Fee Basis
Anderson | Schoech is in the process of drafting a complaint against a local builder in Vacaville, California, for construction defect damages resulting from foundation movement. The builder represented to the homeowner that they were going to fully investigate and make the necessary repairs. The builder did conduct an investigation and came to the conclusion that the foundation movement had caused the damage to the home which included drywall cracks, stucco cracks, sticking windows and doors, and flooring deficiencies. The builder then, with no engineering, said that the home had stabilized and tried to have the homeowner sign a full release in exchange for $1,700. The homeowner rightly contacted our law firm and we are investigating the foundation movement which could result in claims in excess of $100,000.
