The attorneys at Anderson | Schoech are donating their time and their upper lip this month to raise money for men’s health. Movember is a great charity and cause which raises money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation, the LIVEstrong Foundation, and others (http://us.movember.com/about/funding-overview/). The statistics are scary. One in six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. This year alone 242,000 new cases of prostate cancer will be diagnosed and 8,290 men will be diagnosed with testicular cancer.

The yearly Movember charitable campaign started in 2003 and it is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in the US and around the world. The “Mo Bros” at the law firm of Anderson Schoech began Movember 1st clean shaven. For the rest of the month, these selfless men groom, trim and wax their way into the recorded history of fine moustachery. Supported by the women in their lives, Mo Sistas, Movember Mo Bros raise funds by seeking out sponsorship for their Mo-growing efforts. Mo Bros effectively become walking, talking billboards for the 30 days of November. Through their actions and words they raise awareness by prompting conversation around the often ignored issue of men’s health.

At the end of the month, Mo Bros and Mo Sistas celebrate their gallantry and valor by either throwing their own Movember party or attending one of the infamous Gala Parties held around the world by Movember, for Movember.
